1. Follow the instructions to login to cPanel >> HERE <<
2. Click the "Backup" button in the Files section of cPanel.

3. In the "Partial Backups" section, click the "Download a Home Directory Backup" button.
This will create a zip file (compressed file) that you then can download to your local computer for storage.

You will now need to backup your website databases if you are using any content management systems such as WordPress or Joomla
4. While still in the Backups section of cPanel, in the "Download a MySQL Database Backup" section click on the link(s) underneath "Databases" to download a zip file of your database(s).
